Alright guys, as always, I want to uh thank everybody for listening. And I also want to just do a quick recap of the uh part one that we did. Alright, so in part one, guys, you were charged with 613 sins, and the prosecution not only presented the sins that you were charged with, all 613, we went over 26 out of the 613. The point is the prosecution also proved you were guilty. Now, if that was in today's court systems, ran by man, right, ran by the world. It doesn't matter what court system, doesn't matter what country, no matter what country you're in, that's what seems to happen is the prosecution presents its case. This is what you did, all the sins that you're charged with, and then they provide their proof as to show that you did it, and once you're found guilty, that's the end of the story. However, God's court doesn't work that way, thank God. So the good news is when it comes to God's court, it's not tainted by man, it's not manipulated by man. And therefore, God's court is just unlike the court systems we have today, not only in this country, but in all countries. We don't have police departments, they're corrupt. We don't have lawyers, they're corrupt, we don't have judges, they're corrupt, we don't have a judicial system, it's all corrupted, right? You're you're presented with a series of charges, in this case, a series of sins. You're found guilty of those sins, or in real life, you'd be found guilty of those charges. That'd be the end of it, right? But because it's God's court, and because he is a just and fair God, we have an opportunity to amount a defense to that guilty verdict, which is what part two is about. And this verdict that came down on us for 613 sins, this guilty verdict, we're gonna get it washed away. We're gonna get all 613 sins taken off the table. We're gonna get this guilty verdict completely dismissed. Because again, we have the opportunity to mount a defense to our guilty verdict, unlike you would have in the real world here and now today in a in a real physical courtroom. So without further ado, let's go into our defense. Now, excuse me. The first thing I want to present is uh I want to go to Romans, all right, chapter five, verse six. Now, for when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Now, if you broke one of the six hundred and thirteen commandments, again, we went over this in the part in part one, you're guilty of all of them. What I just read to you guys to present our first line of defense is that Christ died for the ungodly. If if I'm charged with six hundred and thirteen sins and I was found guilty of all six hundred and thirteen sins, that would certainly make me an ungodly man, which would therefore fall under Christ in terms of who Jesus Christ died for. It also says this, guys. Uh, I'm gonna present another another piece of evidence, right? Hebrews chapter 7, verse 12 says this for the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. So what I was found guilty on, the six hundred and thirteen commandments, the sins, six hundred and thirteen sins I was found guilty on are under a different law. Under a different law. They're under the law of Moses. There was a change in the law. So it would be the equivalent of me being charged for having alcohol, right? Because back in the day we had what was called prohibition, which means the government would crack down on businesses. It was illegal to drink. If you had alcohol in your establishment, they'd come shut you down. It was illegal, right? We don't have prohibition anymore. But what I just presented to you in Hebrews chapter 7, verse 12, there's a change of the law, just like prohibition. That law was changed, so it's no longer illegal to drink anymore. Well, the law of Moses was also changed to avoid me getting docked for those six hundred and thirteen sins. The law of Moses is what I was tried for and found guilty of. The law that has been changed to is faith. Under faith, there's only two commandments. Love God, love your neighbor. There's no sin, there's no death, there's no judgment. For those of you who don't know what judgment means, it means punishment. There's no punishment. You can't punish me if there's no sin. If I haven't sinned, you can't punish me. Now I'm gonna keep going because I don't want to cut my own argument down here. So I'm gonna stick to the script, right? So let's go to our next piece of evidence here. Alright, so Romans 10, 4. Alright, Romans chapter 10, verse 4. Alright, I'm gonna read it out, guys. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes. Now, I just read to you what faith is. Love God, love your neighbor. That's what we live by, that's what we believe. So for us, you're holding me accountable for 613 sins under a law that doesn't apply to me because I believe in Jesus. The law has been changed from 613 commandments, law of Moses, to the law of Christ, faith, which is two commandments love God, love your neighbor. So I was found guilty on a law, under the law of Moses, I was found guilty. Those laws under the law of Moses, under the law, don't apply to me. I I have nothing to do with that law. Let's go to the next argument, guys. The next point. I want you to stay in Romans. I'm gonna go up a little bit. Alright, Romans. Chapter six, verse fourteen. For you are not under the law, but under grace. Now, again, guys, I that's Romans. Alright. Chapter six, verse fourteen. I'm not under the law. You can't say I'm guilty of six hundred and thirteen sins. You can't present to me six hundred and thirteen sins and say I'm guilty of them if I'm not even under that law anymore. It doesn't apply to me. When the Bible it says grace, right? At the end of that. I said, for you are not under the law, but under grace. For those of you who don't know what grace means, grace means two things. It means simple, it means refinement, it also means good graces. So I'm on good graces with Jesus, with God. I'm not under the law, but I'm under faith. So you can't ding me for sins that don't apply to me. You can't ding me for a law that I don't doesn't apply to me. Now again, guys, I I want to be crystal clear about this. When it says that uh it says that and this is the same line, guys. This is just the first half of it. I'll read the whole thing just so you know it's the same line. Remember Romans chapter 6, verse 14. For sin for sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law. So you'll notice, guys, in the Bible, if you actually look at it and you and you go through it and you study it and you do it the right way, the Bible will talk about lawless people. And this isn't part of our argument. I'm just kind of going off script for a minute because I just want to throw this in there. I feel like this is a really good time to kind of interject this little piece. When it talks about lawless people, guys, part of the reason I was convicted of 613 sins, why I was found guilty of 613 sins, the proof that the prosecution put against me to prove that I broke those 613 commandments was that I broke the law of Moses because you can't be justified by the law of Moses. So no matter what you do, you're never going to be able to live by the law of Moses. Now, people who don't believe in Jesus, right? Like your Christian who goes by the law of Moses but claims he believes in Jesus, doesn't follow the two commandments, love God, love your neighbor. So they're not following the law of Christ, faith, love God, love your neighbor. Instead, they're trying to follow the law of Moses, which they can't follow. It's impossible. That's what the Bible's talking about when it says that these people are lawless. They're not following the law of Moses because they can't, and they're not following the law of Christ because they don't want to. Just want to throw that in there as a side note, guys. But nevertheless, so far, so good. Right? We're winning this case, guys, so we're gonna keep driving at home. Now, I want to go to uh first John. We want to let him weigh in on this, right? Chapter three, verse four. For sin is the transgression of the law, more specifically the law of Moses. So I just told you guys the reason why I was convicted, right, for it is the transgression of the law. Whoever so whosoever right, whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law. It's only a sin, right? Because I broke the law of Moses. The only way you can come up with six hundred and thirteen sins against me is if you go by the law of Moses and you say, Well, you broke the law of Moses. Even one of them gets you ding for all six hundred and thirteen. If I'm not under the law of Moses, the law of Moses is out the window. Sin goes with it because it's attached to it. If I broke God's commandment, but it wasn't under the law of Moses, the Messianic law, it wouldn't be a sin. It's only a sin because it's under the law of Moses. It's not a sin because it's under faith, it's a sin because it's under the law of Moses, not the law of Christ, not faith. What makes it sin is that it's under the law that I don't even follow. That has nothing to do with me. So if if it's a sin, if that's I'm getting tagged for 613 sins because I broke a law or the laws, right? But the problem is that it's only sin because I broke those laws. If I remove those laws, the 613 laws of Moses, there's no sin. You can't ding me for sin. That's that's what makes it sin, is the fact that I broke that law. Once that law is removed and it's replaced with love, God, love your neighbor, faith, the law of Christ, you can't ding me for sins. How do you ding me for 613 sins for breaking a law or 613 sins for breaking 613 laws that don't even exist anymore? Again, it goes back to my argument I made earlier just a couple minutes ago. How are you gonna arrest me for prohibition when that law's not on the books anymore? It's the same principle. How are you gonna ding me for 613 sins when they're not even on the books anymore? The law isn't even on the books anymore, which means the sins wouldn't be on the books anymore either. You're finding me guilty of something that was never in play. You're you're finding me guilty on 613 sins that never existed. Now, if I didn't believe in Jesus, he'd have me dad to rights. Problem is I do. We're not like other churches, guys. Because we're an actual church. We use a real Bible. King James. Only one. I want to go down to my next piece of evidence. Romans chapter four, verse fifteen. This is gonna tell you exactly what I just told you, only it's coming straight from the horse's mouth. Romans chapter four verse fifteen. Because the law works wrath, for where not the law is, there is no transgression. I'm gonna read it again, guys. Romans chapter four verse fifteen. For where not the law is, there is no transgression. If there's no law, I can't sin because sin is breaking the law. Transgression means that I broke the law. For those of you who don't may not know what the word transgression means, it means that I broke the law. I can't break a law that doesn't exist. I can't sin if the law doesn't exist. It doesn't make sense. In order for me to sin, I have to break the law of Moses. I don't go by that law, so I can't break that law. I don't have anything to do with that law. Remember, the law changed to faith. Love God, love your neighbor. Two commandments. At no point was it ever flipped back. Remember, the Bible says this, guys. The Bible says it goes from faith to faith. From grace to grace. Right? So faith to faith. It doesn't go from faith to faith back to law. It doesn't do that. Now, I wanna I don't want to stop there, guys. I really want to make sure that we beat this case. I really want to make sure that we got all the information, right? I want to stay in Romans. I want to go to chapter 7, alright, verse 8. Now, again, this goes back to what I just told you guys. Excuse me. Only this is straight from the horse's mouth. Romans chapter 7, verse 8. And by the way, guys, just for context, we kind of hit on Romans a lot, but it's because Paul, the apostle, wrote it. Paul the apostle who wrote it was fortunate enough before he passed, before he died, to see Jesus Christ Jesus face to face. To see Jesus after he had risen face to face. Now he went to the third heaven to do it, but that's another conversation for another day. So Romans chapter 7, verse 8. For without law, right? For without law, Romans chapter 7, verse 8. For without law, sin was dead. Guys, if if I pass away, right, just anybody in general, right? If somebody dies, they're gone forever. They don't come back. Right? So it's the same principle. Sin is dead because it the law is gone and it's attached to the law of Moses. The law of Moses is gone, which makes it dead. You can't bring it back so you can convict me on 613 sins and find me guilty. You don't get that luxury. You can't bring it back just to use it for your own purpose. That's what Satan likes to do. Can't do that. It's dead. The law is dead to me. The law of Moses, to be more specific. And so therefore, if the law of of Moses is dead to me, whatever is attached to it is also dead to me. Which would include sin. The same sin you tell me I'm found guilty of. That I didn't sin 613 times by sinning once. I'm not making that claim. What I'm making the claim is Jesus died for the ungodly. I told you that when I started this defense. He paid for those. You don't get the right to circle back after Jesus paid for them and try and ding me for him. Can't do that. Now here in America and in physical, real time, in any other country besides America, they can do that. Not in God's court, not in Jesus' court. Can't do that. He died for the ungodly. Not only did he die for the ungodly, which I just told you, guilty as charged, but he took away the sin of the world. John 1 29. He took away the sin of the world. How did he do that? By taking the law off the table because he fulfilled it. Now, if you don't believe that, you're going to preach 613 commandments, you're going to preach sin, you're going to preach the law, you're going to preach judgment, you're going to preach death. We don't preach that, guys. Because we understand the law was changed. It's the end of the law, only to those who believe. We don't preach sin. We don't preach judgment. We don't preach death. We preach no sin, no judgment, and a life. Because Jesus took away the sin that you found me guilty of. You don't get the right to grudge it back up and throw it back up at me. Again, that's how it works in this court system here on the earth. Not how it works in God's court system. Not how it works in Jesus' court system. Now I want to I want to really hammer this home and call it my closing argument, if you will. For this, I want to go to Galatians, all right, chapter 2, verse 16. We have believed in Jesus Christ. Remember, I told you, how do how do you know I believed in Jesus Christ? Because we don't preach sin. Jesus Christ took away the sin of the world, John 1.29. We believed that, so we don't preach sin. Jesus preached life, not death, so we preach life. We don't preach judgment because Jesus didn't preach judgment. He preached love. That's what we preach. We don't go by 613 commandments. We don't go by the law of Moses, we go by the law of Christ. Jesus, faith. Love God, love your neighbor. That's how you know we believe. So I want to go to uh I want Read the whole, I want to actually read out a little bit more of it. So it says, We have believed in Jesus Christ. Again, I just told you that's us, and I and I explained to you how we do that we might be justified by the faith of Christ. We're justified, guys. If there's no sin to hold against us, then we're justified. We're the same as a perfect man. I didn't say we're perfect, and I'm not claiming that you will be perfect, and I'm not claiming that that's the claim the Bible is making. What I'm saying is that there's a difference between you being perfect, for example, Jesus Christ wasn't the same as a perfect man, he was perfect, never sinned once. Now, we are not Jesus Christ. We are not the Son of God. So therefore, we can never be perfect. But what we can be is the same as a perfect man, which makes us justified. Now, it also says in the Bible, and we'll talk about this another day, but just speaking of justified, right? We're justified by our faith. Same as a perfect man. Now, just to kind of double down on that statement, and again, we'll we'll do a sermon on this another time. Um, but just to give you guys a heads up, you can look look it up for yourselves if you choose to. Uh, it's in the book of James, where it tells you that if you're not offended by the word, it's the same as a perfect man. So we're not just pulling this out of a hat, guys. We're not just pulling it out of a random book. I'm we're telling you what the Bible says. The Bible says that if you are not offended by the word, if if you do something that's wrong and you and the Bible corrects you, and you're not upset about that, you're the same as a perfect man. So, just to give you guys an example from a biblical standpoint, Paul. Okay, since we focus so much on him, you might as well you know use him as an example. Paul water baptized when he initially started preaching. That was his thing, right? John the Baptist did it before him. He essentially picked up where he left off. Now, Paul wasn't the only one who, as far as the apostles go, uh after Jesus Christ rose, that that water baptized. Um, again, I'm um there was 12 of them, and I'm not saying all 12 of them water baptized, it's not what I'm saying. Paul was an apostle, uh, and he was one of the few that were left after Jesus Christ had passed and risen. My point is this he water baptized, and then he realized after that that he wasn't supposed to, and so he stopped water baptizing. Now, now what made him realize that he was wrong, that he shouldn't have been water baptizing, because I told you he went up to the third heaven, okay, and this is all in Corinthians, if you guys want to look it up. Not sure if it's first or second, but again, do your own homework. Paul went to the third heaven, spoke to Jesus directly in the spirit, and he was informed at that point that he was not to water baptize. Now, how do I know that? Is it because the Bible tells me the conversation he had with Jesus? No, it actually says the opposite. It says that Paul came back with unspeakable things. He couldn't the things he wanted to say were unspeakable. But how I know that that was a conversation or at least part of that conversation with Jesus was because Paul had stopped water baptizing after that and said, Thank God I didn't water baptize more of you. Thank God I didn't baptize more of you. Right? He doesn't specifically use the word water, but he says, Thank God I didn't baptize more of you. There's clear, clear scripture where Paul used water to baptize prior to that. So it's not, we're not, again, we're not just pulling stuff out of the air. We're not just guessing at what he's talking about. Okay. Paul used water. That was the only baptism he did. So when he gets done talking to Jesus and he says, Oh, shoot, I shouldn't have shouldn't have baptized you guys. As a matter of fact, he says, Thank God it didn't baptize more of you, for God, Jesus, sent me to preach, not to baptize. And the way he words it, I believe he puts it the other way. So he says that God sent him not to baptize, but to preach the gospel. So again, Paul or uh yeah, Paul was considered the same as a perfect man because when he realized and was told by Jesus, whether it was through the word or it was direct face to face, he wasn't upset about it. He didn't get mad and do it anyways, he didn't double down and say, Well, I'm gonna water baptize more people. No, he said, Oh shoot, I made a mistake. I'm sorry, Jesus, I'll correct it. And he did, and that's what made him the same as a perfect man. Was he perfect? No. Only one person on this earth was ever perfect. His name is Jesus Christ. So Paul wasn't perfect, neither was Job, neither was Moses. And I threw Moses in there because I wanted to kind of touch on the Old Testament a little bit as far as and the New Testament. But my point is your prophets, your apostles, they weren't perfect. They were the same as a perfect man, not the same thing as being perfect. Jesus Christ was perfect. What made Paul the same as is he wasn't offended. He wasn't pissed off when he found out what he was preaching or how he was preaching was wrong, and that he shouldn't have done it. Because the Bible also says, if you want to take it a step further, that not only did Paul make a mistake by water baptizing, but he also realized that what you're trying to do is you're trying to, whether you mean to or not, you're trying to relay the foundation Jesus already set. Jesus himself said, I will be water baptized, right? To fulfill the law. And he says this, that's where your churches stop. That's that's only half of the story. Jesus Christ also says that he is baptized once for all. If you believe in Jesus Christ, you would be under the all part. Now, I want to jump over uh to John. Uh well, if you want to look, guys, where it says again, John 1 29, he took away the sin of the world. Uh so I want to jump over, I want to stay in John, and I want to go to chapter 6. Uh 635. Chapter 6, John, chapter 6, verse 35. Now, remember, I told you guys we don't we don't preach death, we preach life. Why do we preach life and not death? Because Jesus Christ represented life. That's what he preached was life, love, and we're gonna prove it to you. Go to John chapter 8, verse 35. And Jesus said, guys, mention Jesus by name. We're not we're not guessing who said this, we're not guessing who made this statement. We're not trying to figure out who made this statement. We didn't have to go outside the Bible to figure out who made this statement or to figure out what Jesus is talking about because we follow the Bible. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life. He that comes to me shall never hunger, and he that believes on me shall never thirst. So again, if we didn't believe in Jesus, we would be preaching to you sin, which also comes death with that, which would come with you going to hell, which is your second death. So, for those of you who may not know what a second death is, the Bible, when it talks about a second death, it's talking about you going to hell. So you'll die here at your first death. Your second death is you going to hell, right? Again, in order for you to preach that, in order for you to get to that point, you'd have to grudge up the law, bring it back, the law of Moses, bring it back, and you'd have to incorporate sin because that's what sin is. It's it's breaking those laws. So if your pastor says, Yeah, I believe in Jesus, but he doesn't tell you, love God, love your neighbor, and instead he switches those out for the 613 and talks about sin. He doesn't believe in Jesus because I just told you, John 1.29, Jesus took away the sin of the world. If he's talking about, you know, if you sin, you're gonna go to hell. He's talking about a second death. He's talking about death. Jesus is talking about life. If he believed in Jesus, he'd be talking about life, not death. And here's here's, I guess, the final blow to the prosecution. This is single-handedly gonna get every charge thrown out the window, every sin thrown out the window. If the case we just made wasn't enough, here comes the knockout punch. Good old Isaiah, old testament. We're going old school on you here. I know. Old school. I I'm actually, you know, I'm 43, so I feel feel like I'm getting old. So it made sense to go go old school. You know what I mean? So here it is. So Isaiah 55, 7. Now, guys, I want you to listen to me real closely on this one. If you haven't really been paying attention, you know, undivided attention up until this point, I would I would stop what you're doing. And uh, I'd really, really home in on this one right here. Because uh, Isaiah's got the uh the end all be all. I'm gonna read the whole thing out, guys. Isaiah 55 7. Let wicked forsake his way. Now, for those of you who who don't know who Isaiah is talking about, he says, Let the wicked forsake his way. His would be Jesus' way, God's way. And the unrighteous, again, people that the wicked who forsake Jesus' way are unrighteous, means they're unright in what they believe. It's literally in the word. Take out the uh it says unrighteous. Take out the just part, and it literally tells you unright. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him so much mercy, so much mercy, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. So again, I I want to focus on the last two words. Abundantly. If if for those of you who may not know what the word abundantly means, it means God's handing these pardons out like candy. It means he's got a crab ton of them. Again, a pardon, guys. Listen, if I get convicted of six hundred and thirteen crimes in real life here on earth, and the government, regardless of what country you're in, gives you what's called a pardon, all of it's forgiven. All of it. There's no way you can you can tag me with 613 commandments or sins. You you can't find me guilty on six hundred and thirteen sins as long as I got a pardon. A pardon means it's all forgiven. All of it. So even if even if what you're saying is true and under the law of Moses, you got me died to rights, it doesn't matter because under faith, the law of Christ, faith, love God, love your neighbor, I got a pardon, which means everything you just threw at me and found me guilty of in part one doesn't matter. It's all forgiven, according to Isaiah, who is a mouthpiece for Jesus God Himself. That's a done deal, guys. I'm walking out the courtroom. Now, I I do, and into heaven, by the way, and and I do want to uh just throw, you know, one more thing in there uh before we you know, I I feel like I feel like that's a W already, but you know, let's just I I want to say this guys uh John um chapter eight. No, I'm sorry. Uh yeah, yeah. John uh no, I'm sorry, I'm lying. Uh John chapter six verse twenty-nine. Alright. It says, guys, believe in whom he sent. If you want that pardon, guys, I would believe in who he sent. And again, if you're talking about sin, right, judgment, which leads to a second death, in other words, hell, you're you're not talking about life. How can you bring up sins when Jesus Christ took those sins away? He took the sin of the world away. How can you possibly circle back to me? The only way that you can ding me for 613 sins and find me guilty of it, and and that verdict to be held up is if I don't believe in Jesus. Remember, guys, I'm not under the law of Moses. I believe in Jesus, which means the law of Moses doesn't apply to me. The law of Moses ends when I believe in Jesus. It doesn't end when I'm born, it doesn't end when I have a good day. The law ends the minute the second I believe in Jesus. The second I believe in Jesus Christ and what he said, the second I believe in what Jesus Christ said, which will lead me to believe in Jesus, which is Jesus, right? It's it's God in the body of Jesus Christ, only spiritual form. But the point is, guys, the minute I believe in Jesus, the second I believe in Jesus, it's the end of the law for me. You can't again uh our court system here on earth is so corrupt that's how that's that's not how God's courts work. We just got six hundred and thirteen sins that we were found guilty of wiped off the table for a number of reasons. And just to recap, again, we don't have sin under faith. Jesus Christ took away the sin of the world. We don't have judgment because judgment is punishment. I just told you that Jesus died, Jesus Christ died for the ungodly. Check the box, somebody already got punished for what I did, and the best part is to round it all off. I got a pardon, guys. I'm not under that law. Even without the pardon, I'm not under the law. Because I believe in Jesus Christ, because I believe in Jesus in spirit. Jesus Christ in spirit is Jesus, God Himself. Because we believe that I'm no longer under the law, and whatever I did prior to that belief, I got a pardon to cover it, guys. So, you know, it took us a lot longer to go through the charges than it did to undo it, right? So, with that being said, guys, I also want to say this uh before we wrap this up.
